J. Geeta Reddy
Dr. Jetti Geeta Reddy (born 1947) is an Indian politician belonging to the Indian National Congress party. She is a Minister in Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet. She is the only minister in AP Government who was brought into politics by Rajiv Gandhi.〔(The Hindu : Front Page : All-party meet held on free zone issue )〕 She represents Zaheerabad constituency in Medak district.〔(The Hindu : Andhra Pradesh / Hyderabad News : Geeta Reddy to be Leader of House )〕 She was also Leader of the Legislative Assembly in K. Born in Hyderabad to,〔(The Hindu : Andhra Pradesh News : Profiles of new Ministers )〕 a former M.L.A and President Of Republican Party of India. She belongs to Dalit (Mala) community. She did her medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad and Member Of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London.
